Hi! I'm Noya Einhorn,

founder of UlpaNoya- a private Hebrew school for Israeli Hebrew.

I believe that learning Hebrew from books, apps, or in "normal" ulpans, is all well and good, but in order to be able to communicate well with native speakers, get by in Israel, and better integrate into Israeli society, you must learn to speak and understand what I call: "Israeli"- The Hebrew spoken by Israelis.

"Israeli" is different from the Hebrew found in books, ulpans or on the news. Proper Hebrew and "Israeli" often seem like two different languages. 
While always making sure that my students are aware of the proper form of anything we learn, I send them out to the real world, equipped with the most up-to-date Israeli Hebrew, so that they can
understand Israelis and be understood by them.

 

I have been teaching Hebrew intensively since 2011, starting as a teacher at a private Ulpan for 3 years. Afterward, I opened my own Hebrew school and since, have been giving private and group Hebrew lessons for students of all levels and backgrounds, using my personal method and approach. I am always available to my students. My care and support don't end when the lesson is over. In addition to being there for them, when they need any kind of help with getting by in Israel, or when they need additional support between lessons, I always encourage my students to text me, if they have ANY kind of question in/about Hebrew, and I happily assist in the best way I can.

The environment in my lessons is very warm, encouraging, comfortable and friendly, and at the same time, extremely professional. It is always my top priority, that each student gets absolutely the most out of their lessons with me, and achieve their goals effectively, while enjoying the process. I am highly creative and sensitive, and I use this to tailor the lessons personally and meticulously for each student, to perfectly fit their needs.

I am extremely patient and incredibly passionate about teaching and about the Hebrew language.

Two main things are the pillars of my approach:
Empowerment and Israeli Hebrew.

My students, even the shyest ones, even students that suffer from anxiety when communicating in Hebrew, very quickly develop self- confidence and start enjoying conversing in Hebrew, with a great feeling of liberty, competence and comfort.
Many of my students tell me they feel like they are in therapy with me :)

Why is empowerment so important?
Because it helps build self-confidence. Self-confidence is of fundamental importance in the process of acquiring a language.
When you are confident-you speak more. When you speak more-you get better at it. When you get better-you become more confident. And that is the circle of success.  
My approach and the useful tools my students acquire in our lessons, create a magic formula, that simply works.   
It is always a pleasure to hear about their new experiences of talking Hebrew to more and more people, and understanding a lot more out there.

 

My vision is to create, together with my students, a new generation of Hebrew learners, that speak like native speakers.
