UlpaNoya is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst UlpaNoya strives to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

If you have any comments and or suggestions relating to improving the accessibility of our site, please don't hesitate to contact our accessibility coordinator: Michal Rocker, by phone: 0505901615 or e-mail: michalr31@gmail.com

  • The website is optimized for common browsers.

  • The website is optimized for mobile phone use.

  • The website is optimized for different screens and resolutions.

  • All the content on the website is visible when zoomed in to 200%, so people with vision impairments can see it.

  • Navigation on the site is simple and clear. The site is organized in a logical order, which allows visitors who use screen readers and / or Tab key for navigation, to get the best possible experience on the website, understand and enjoy its content.

  • The content of the website is well organized and presented clearly.

  • Every link on the website is informative and gives relevant information about the link. Every Link text clearly explains what happens or where it leads when clicked. Links that lead to the same location use the same text.

  • Text colors were changed according to their backgrounds to reach the required contrast / ratio. (The minimum is 4.5:1. On our website it is 5.1:1).

  • The website has both menus and a search bar.

  • Objects with links, like photos, have alternative (alt) text to explain where they lead.

  • The images on the website have alternative (alt) text and can be read by assistive technology, like screen readers.

  • Linked text is underlined and is a different, contrasting color to the text next to it.

  • The vast majority of the videos on the website have built-in captions, and all of the videos are linked to YouTube, therefore offer the viewer the option of turning on captions with YouTube settings.
